CONELRAD is pleased to announce our new podcast service The CONELRAD Cafe is now available for downloading and playing on site via streaming MP3 audio and Flash player. Hosted by CONELRAD co-founder and editor Bill Geerhart oir debut podcast features the rare 1951 Federal Civil Defense Administration's 'Bert the Turtle' children's dramatic radio program for kids. This complete program was a repurposing of the character created by Archer Productions for its DUCK AND COVER educational film of the same year. Future podcasts are already in production and include Inside a Communist Cell and a new selection of Public Service Announcements.
