Peter Watkins' THE WAR GAME released on DVD

UK filmmaker Peter Watkins' 1965 masterpiece THE WAR GAME has finally been released in the United States on DVD. The package features a 12-page essay on the once BBC-banned movie by film historian Patrick Murphy (originally published in the May 2003 edition of Film International magazine). Murphy also provides fascinating feature length audio commentary. Watkins' 1964 non-atomic motion picture, CULLODEN, is the second movie offered on the DVD.
