INTRODUCING THE GOLDWATERS

BOB GREEN migrated north from Valdosta, GA., to Nashville. The valedictorian of his high school graduating class, Bob sings tenor and plays guitar. He is a math major at David Lipscomb College.

FRED QUAN is from Bryn Mawr, Penn. Fred, a skilled banjoist, is a political science major at Belmont College, Nashville, Tenn. Fred is a favorite among those who appreciate authentic bluegrass music.

KENNETH CROOK sings most of the lead material for The Goldwaters. His hometown is Pulaski, Tenn. Ken attended Peabody College where he was a music major. His hobby is radio, and he is recognized as one of the Mid-South's leading announcers.

JIM VANTREASE and ANDREW JACKSON both live (or lived) near Old Hickory Lake... Jim at Gallantin, Tenn.... Andy at Hermitage, Tenn., but this has nothing to do with folk music. Jim is a music theory major at Peabody College and bass player for The Goldwaters.
