The CONELRAD 100 of Atomic Films

TITLE: THE BEAST OF YUCCA FLATS

THE BEAST OF YUCCA FLATS
DIRECTOR: Coleman Francis
YEAR: 1961

A defecting Soviet scientist (Tor Johnson?) is transformed into a radioactive monster (Tor Johnson!) during an atomic test at Yucca Flats. Johnson literally carries the movie proving that he could weave his peculiar magic even without his svengali Ed Wood at the helm. Directed by the arguably 'sub-Wood' Coleman Francis.
